ISBT Amsterdam is coming up!
5-6-7 MAY 2006
We're very glad to tell you that, we'll be organizing a new ISBT in Amsterdam.
Needless to say you've got to be there !!
Same time (early May), same place (Uilenstede Sportcentre Amsterdam), same
atmosphere, same amazing city, and hopefully lots of known (and yet unknown)
badminton & party people.
So, start asking around at your club for people that want to join, and make
sure to subscribe from the 1st of January! We have a capacity of 110
participants, and have had a full tournament the last editions, so reacting
quickly is recommended!
In case you haven't been to our ISBT before, or if you're trying to convince
others to come, here are some reasons:
?br>For 40 euros you'll get:
2 days of playing badminton
2 nights "sleeping" in the sportscentre
2 breakfasts, 2 lunches, and some coffee to recover from these nightsJ
2 dinners (on Sat. & Sun., people attending our ISBT2005 should still remember
the great Sat. dinner we organized last time)
Party on Saturday
And lots of fun, meeting young international badminton players ...
This year, the tournament will be open to A, B, C and D players.
No need to introduce Amsterdam of course, we'll add some tourism links on the
website later in case you're thinking about staying here for longer.牋?Coming
earlier to Amsterdam would be a good idea, especially since Friday May 5th is
the anniversary of our Liberation Day, so there'll be festivities & concerts
in the city. If you`re thinking of staying even longer, Sunday April 30th is
also a fabulous experience in Amsterdam. Everyone in The Netherlands
celebrates the birthday of one of our former queens, and the whole country
will be orange! Typical are the flee-markets all over the city, where people
try to sell their old stuff.?It`s definitely the most crowded day of the year
in Amsterdam, but also one to remember.....
