u will know the difference between university and Hogeschool. However, for Dutch citizens, holding a HBO (BA) degree from Hogeschool is somehow easier to find job than those ir, drs (master) holders from universities.
Tell u another story just happened not long ago. There was a national job fair here, several chinese students from business major in a hogeschool here attended it and they only got chances to talk to some companies about the positions of salers, which it's mission impossible for chinese here to apply since none of them could understand Dutch language. While a chinese girl from TSM got interviewed in a public company as marketing manager with no language requirement. Think about it

what is TSM?

that probably meant she was being interviewed by a prostitution company  right?

楼主说的那些治安问题偶都没有碰到过啊。可能是偶住的ARNHEM市不够大吧。至于学习被人排挤的事，只要自己从一开始就能主动与外国同学老师沟通，表现出你的学习兴趣，多问能让大家受益的问题，就不会有人无缘无故排挤你了。
