Marrying to a dutch is easy, but if you wanna change the student ID to the family ID, NOW it is difficiult, the law of the immgration changed already!
Even if you married a dutch yet, you have NO right to apply or get the Family ID at all, First you MUST go back the Hollannd Embassy of your own country to be accepted the Dutch Comprehensive Exam, Only when you pass the exam in the holland emabssy of your own country, that is possible for you to get the family ID (family mvv).
Getting the family ID has nothing to do with getting the Dutch Nationality, IF you wanna have the Dutch Nationality, you MUST stay in Holland 5 years at least AND your husband or your wife is dutch and you married. Besides, you STILL need to take the "NL 2" exam, if you pass that exam, since you apply to IND, at least you must wait about half year then that is possibility of getting the dutch nationality.
All in all, so long as you wanna get the Family ID, you MUST go back Holalnd Embassy in Beijing, or Shanghai or Guangzhou to accept the dutch exam.
Law has been changed since it was march of 2005.
I am in france, here it is a little easy than Holland, as long as you married a french, you can go to police station to apply the family ID, first they give you 3 month, after 3 month they give you 1 year, after 1 year, they give you another one year, after 2 times one year ID, they give you 10 years family ID in france, that means permenant ID even if you divorce. |
