In the past month, the showers at Woudestein Sports Centra appeared to be contaminated with legionella bacteria.
The showers were immediately cut off, and after having been equipped with special Legionella filters, some of the showers were put into operation again.

Monday 23 April, the water pipe system has been disinfected.

We are currently in expectation of the test-results of the water samples taken on 25 April last, and will inform you shortly.

Persons who have used the showers at the Sports Centre in March/April might have been in contact with legionella bacteria.
People who have a poor health condition (fragile resistance) might have been contaminated. There is a minimum chance of contamination. In case of questions, please contact mr Frans van der Kroef at the Sports Centre, phone 010 - 408 18 75, or refer to your doctor. For more information, go to www.erasmussport.nl.
