去年的申请，今天终于收到结果 (about UCM)

今天终于收到University College Maastricht admission office发出的一封信，打开网易邮箱的时候，第一眼就看见了标题“invited",长长的一篇信，好几个看不懂的地方，大半年不碰英语，已经有些捉襟见肘。:请大家帮看看下面一段文字，自己看了有些迷糊，谢谢各位。

On the basis of the formal assessment of your previous education you are
admissible to a Dutch university and you can thus register for University
College Maastricht.

On the basis of a thorough review of your application file, your educational
record and the interview, the Board of Admissions of University College
Maastricht advices you not to enrol in the UCM broad bachelor program.

The Board of Admissions has strong reservations with regard to your academic
capabilities and especially language proficiency to complete the UCM program
successfully and comply with the level of education at UCM. In addition the
Board would like to stress, as was done during the interview, that UCM is an
academic and theoretical program and not aimed to train students in a
specific profession or vocation.

On the basis of a thorough review of your application file, your educational

人家不建议你去呢，呵呵

写的挺婉转。已开始说你具备了正常的入学条件，你是可以仅的。/
不过根据你的材料，和面试，觉得你的学习能力和英语水平还不购。

写的挺婉转倒是。试试别的学校吧。

这封信中虽说在开头部分是说你可以注册,但是后面两段话风一转,建议你不去,在第三段中对你的学术和语言水平,学校对你的学习有很强的限制.我认为 flyheart, hand4love 说的没错.

唉，口语太差了，而且当时是telephone interview,好紧张，发挥也不好。那么大家能给些一建议么，我该到底去不去。alexandertg,你说的“学校对我的学习有很强的限制"具体是什么意思呢？因为在信的后文说道如果头2个学期拿不到32ECTS 就要被开除的，不知道是不是那个呀。

学校其实是建议你不去，但是从硬条件你是符号该学校的入学要求的，所以他们不能直接拒绝你。但是在后面一是说你语言能力差，怕你不适应；二是如果你坚持去，他们将对你提出严格的要求（就是strong reservations ）。所以此信实际上是叫你不去。

我觉得也不是很积极的答复，估计是如果你要去肯定要补充什么课程，或者如果没有完成什么课程就会开除你，这样你以前的努力就白费了。其实如果语言不好，在这里根本没法学习，生活都是问题。

非常感谢大家，但是想想自己毕竟等了那么长时间，现在就算困难再大，还是要去试试，不然真的不甘心。
