Elmer Sterken appointed Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business

Elmer Sterken (Apeldoorn, 1961) has been Professor of Monetary Economics since 1994. He studied Econometrics in Groningen and gained his PhD in Economics at the University of Groningen in 1990. He then went on to become Assistant Professor (UD) and Associate Professor (UHD) of Macroeconomics and in 1994 he took the position of Full Professor. In addition, he also held numerous other positions, such as visiting professor at universities in Munich, Kobe and Atlanta. Sterken is also Director of the Netherlands Network of Business Economics and consultant at Effectenbank Stroeve N.V., Amsterdam.

现在RUG的FEB在申请AACSB认证呢~

I have taken his course of international economics 1( nations and firms in global economy), in my opinion,he is not so good as you imagine and he seems not so warm to Chinese.However,he is so diligent guy that you can enjoy his course video for every lecture.
