I am studying in tilburg university now.

It is not true that the interview is difficult. It is not true that you should apply for admission through NESO. It is not true that the scholarship has something to do with whether you apply through NESO or not. It is even not true that the amount of scholarship is 1300 Euro.

Actually, the interview is easy, as my fellow students told me, they apply through neso last year. Second, if you have all the basic requirements set by the University, you are adviced to apply by yourself. If you don't have a Toefl test record or the grade is too low (below 575), you have better choose Neso.They can give you some tips about the interview. Actually, last year the number of DIYs was greater than that of NESOs, 13 students through NESO were accepted while more than 20 DIYs are here. Third, whether you get the sholarship or not depends on your qualifications. Three of Diys who are my friends and I get the sholarship, and there must be others I don't know. And some of  excellent Diys didn't apply for the scholarship because they didn't know there was a sholarship, the advantage of apply through NESO was you was informed about the scholarship. The selection procedure was held in Tilburg University. Finally, the amount of scholarship ranges from 1750 to 3000, depends on qualifications, my friend who diy the application, get 3000, I think she is the only one who get that amount.

Anyway, the tuition fee last year was 5250 Euro, for this year, 5500.

thanks above. but a friend of mine get only 1300 Euro for scholarship.people has their own opinion, but you can not say which one is true and which one is false, some people thinks that interview is difficult.you may know something but not all.

for sure, applicants backgroud gets the requirement, they can DIY.
and we always advise student to DIY their process.

oh, I am sorry if I made mistakes.

Because 13 students applied through NESO last year and 12 of them live in the same building with me , another one live at other place is my close friend, so , that is the reason I am so sure.I know those who get the scholarship, but I can't remember if there is anyone get 1300? Could you give me you friend's name? I think it is unfair for him or her got 1300 while all of others got 1750 above, I would advise her to find out if there was anything wrong. As the University indicated that the amount of scholarship was not 1300. She should lodge a complaint to the Faculty.

Another mistake I should appologize for is that from this year(2003) on, the university will only receive undergraduate applicants from two agents ,neso and chef. The reason is that it is too costly and time consuming for the University to handle individual applications. It is really a bad news for diys.

Dose the people who study in delta scholarship university or hogeschool could apply for it?

For bachelor degress study, Tilburg university only offer Delta scholarship which only last 1 year. Only fisrt students can apply for it. If your application for admission is accepted, you can ask them to send you an application form for Delta scholarship.
