中国园艺企业寿光蔬菜产业控股集团于6月10日在Lansingerland举行奠基仪式,正式宣布落户荷兰。中国驻荷兰大使馆张晋雄参赞、南荷兰省代表Govert Veldhuijzen、Lansingerland市长Ewald van Vliet以及寿光集团总经理高寿平出席奠基仪式。
寿光蔬菜产业控股集团来自中国的水果和蔬菜主产区——山东省寿光市,其在中国的业务覆盖了整个水果和蔬菜的生产经营,从作物种植和发展,到产品销售及分销。寿光蔬菜集团表示通过此次在荷兰的投资,希望能过创建一个利于中荷双向园艺产业发展与共赢的交流平台。
在选址过程中,西荷兰外商投资局以及Lansingerland市为寿光集团提供了积极的协助。寿光集团也表示,此后将会有在西荷兰地区与荷兰园艺产业进行长期发展的规划,更有可能在短期内增加投资,扩充生产力。

Festive groundbreaking ceremony marks the start of construction of Chinese horticultural company in Lansingerland
The arrival of the Chinese horticultural enterprise, Shouguang Vegetable Industry Holding Group is a valuable addition to the horticultural cluster in and around Lansingerland. This was evident during the festive start to the construction of their new 1,400 m2 company and training facility on June 10th 2013. By establishing themselves in Lansingerland, the Shouguang Vegetable Industry Holding Group is seeking to create and contribute to a platform for the exchange of horticultural knowledge between China and the Netherlands, such that both countries benefit.
"The decision for a location in the West Holland region was not a difficult choice. Lansingerland is one of the most innovative and advanced horticultural areas worldwide where gardeners apply high-tech to growing crops" said Yang Ming CEO Shouguang Vegetable Industry.
Shouguang Vegetable Industry Holding Group comes from the city of Shouguang in Shandong Province, the main production area for fruit and vegetables in China. In China the Shouguang Vegetable Group operates in the entire production of fruit and vegetables: from crop cultivation and development to sales and distribution. The West Holland Foreign Investment Agency and the municipality Lansingerland actively assisted the Shouguang Vegetable Group in the selection of the location in Berkel en Rodenrijs.
According to Ewald van Vliet, Mayor of Lansingerland, “The growing cooperation in the field of horticulture between China and the Netherlands will eventually lead to concrete investments for the Netherlands."
Knowledge Exchange
Since purchasing a 40,000 m2 greenhouse in Berkel en Rodenrijs in June of last year the Shouguang Vegetable Industry Holding Group company has focused on building partnerships with Dutch companies and institutions in the horticultural sector. A joint venture has been established with the seed breeding company, Axia Seeds of Naaldwijk; together with the University of Wageningen cooperation has taken place in the field of training and, a partnership agreement has been entered into with GreenQ from Bleijswijk. The exchange of knowledge focuses, among other things, on farming techniques, seed breeding and food safety.
"We are very pleased with the arrival of the Shouguang Vegetable Group in Lansingerland. This is the first Chinese Horticulture company to invest in Greenport South Holland" says Govert Veldhuijzen, Deputy for the Province of South Holland.
Long term
Shouguang Vegetable Group has long-term ambitions for activities in the West Holland region and the Dutch horticultural sector. The company plans in the short term to increase their investment and expand their workforce in the Netherlands.
"This is a concrete step for the cooperation between the Netherlands and China in the field of horticulture development as well as a strengthening of political ties between the two countries," said Zhang Jinxiong, Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in the Netherlands.
