Job description
For our export department in headquarters Harderwijk, the Netherland, we are currently looking to hire a Trade Finance Officer.
This position will require the incumbent to possess knowledge of technical and analytical functions related to the trade financing and servicing sector.
Your main responsibilities will include:
• Assessing acceptances, issuances, amendments, and negotiations for export letters of credit and banker's acceptances
• Processing of Export L/Cs
• Preparing and checking of documents
• Assignment of proceeds
• Discounts
• Refinancing
• Issuing commercial letters of credit, amendments, transfers and requests to pay;
• Requires working knowledge of trade finance operations and documentation, as well as relevant regulations (UCP600)
Qualifications
• HBO / University degree with relevant work experience
• Minimum 3-7 years of relevant work experience
• A background in and a profound knowledge of dealing with Traditional Trade Finance instruments such as Letters of Credit and Collections.
• Strong commercial awareness and the ability to talk to our off-takers on a regular basis
• Being comfortable with standard banking technologies and MS Office
• A thorough knowledge of the English language, preferably Chinese as well.
