Come on, dude. You said Aberdeen is not very good????? It is for sure a top law school in the UK, although it is Scottish system. However, hard to say whether its LLM is good enough. As you know, LLM isnot a typical training education for law students in western world. Regarding the city, it is quite small but quiet, peaceful. It is an oil city but only have <50000people. I knew there are at least four chinese professors in that school. Two are from mainland, and two from Taiwan. I do not mean they are not as good as British teachers. Just raise some facts I know about that school. Its commercial law is good and contract law, too. For sure, Aberdeen is not as good as Edinburgh as a capital in Scotland, especially the weather. But you can have more chance, maybe.
As you said, the costs for two countries are almost the same. To be honest, I doubt it. All depend on how is your life. I knew many people who can spend about 30000 pounds in the UK, that is way more than in the NL. Btw, i have no idea why you raise your relative's example here. Maybe you have your concern based on that fact. But i couldnot understand it.
The language thing is one thing to consider. Many dutch speak awesome English, as native speaking. Some chinese speak shit English even they have stayed in the UK for ages. Hard to make conclusion. For a common sense, living in the UK is better for your feeling, but just for feeling.
The last thing is that to pursue a further education in any country depends on yourself. Before you choose, follow your heart. After you decide, love your choice. No matter in which country, your life is in your hands. Hope this can help you to some extent. |
