The exact rent I don't know yet. But probably it will be approx. 325.-. The
rent is here also including water, gas and electricity. There's no
internetconnection. We have applied for rooms through Acasa (Student Housing
Department) and all the rooms they offer outside the campus or without
internetconnection. So, only when you are living on-campus there's
internetconnection, but ofcourse this is also more expensive. But as you
might know, we have here a tradingroom especially for all the MSc-students.
There are computers, that can be used by all of you. This room is also
opened after openinghours (you will receive a chipcard to enter the building
and the MSc-room as soon as you have arrived here).

可是无线上网卡有好多种啊，有基于W-LAN，GPRS等等的，还是去那里看了型号买比较保险啊。万一这里买了到那里不能用就麻烦了啊

我打电话问了,说要买个什么pcmcia的网卡, 这是什么呀,谁给解释一下

pcmcia或usb2.0接口的无限网卡都可以。好像802.11b，GPRStwente都支持，但GPRS得比较慢，所以买块支持802.11b（有钱就加上支持802.11g)标准的无限网卡就好了。国内买就行了。保险的话，买802.11b和GPRS组合卡贵不了多少。

You will live at the Emmastraat 210-301 (it is a studio), so bigger than the
other rooms in Macandra. You have your own shower, toilet and kitchen. You
can stay here till 1/9/03. As of 2/9/03 you will move to the Witbreuksweg
379-207, it is on-campus. Here you also have your own toilet and shower, you
have to share the living room and kitchen with others. There's also an
internetconnection and a telephone for jointly use. The price for this room

Mirande 来信了，说了房子：
The apartment at the Sterrenstraat is on the other side of the road of the
campus. So, only a few minutes away from the University. You will live in a
5-room apartment together with 2 other students. You all have your own
bed/studyroom. You have to share the livingroom, the kitchen, toilet, shower
and washingmachine. Unfortunately, there's no internetconnection. In case
you are not satisfied, I'm sorry to inform you that it is not possible to
move out directly. As you maybe already wrote in the booklet "Living in The
Netherlands" it is very difficult to find housing here in Enschede. And for
the months August/September there's a waitinglist for people who are still
searching for rooms.

There's no picture available of the apartments. But I have been there last
year in one of the apartment together with Mirande, and we think it's very
nice to live there. Also a few other students are going to live at the
Sterrenstraat.
