Is visa required to travel in Switzerland?

Is it necessary to apply for a visa to travel to Switzerland if I hold a valid ID here?

if ur dutch residence permit is still valid for the next 3months, u don't need a visa for switzerland. i was there for skiing early this year.  no visa needed.
