- Only UvA international students can rent these bikes
- The rent is 25 Euro for a semester and 45 Euro for a whole academic year
- Deposit is 50 Euro and will be returned when the bike is returned undamaged
- Students can only rent one bike per person
- Each student will receive 2 locks
- One can only pay in cash
- To prevent bike theft the bikes are provided with a registration tag and a special sticker that can’t be removed
- After the rental period students have to bring the bike back to Locker at the Binnengasthuisstraat (this is a bike shop under the Service and Information Center) They will then get their deposit back
- If the bike gets stolen, students should report this to the police. Students will have to pay deposit again, but not rent
- If a bike has not been returned a month after the semester has ended, we will report the bike as stolen to the police and no deposit will be returned
