教你设置WURMAIL,不再受学校邮箱100MB大小的限制...
前几天因为WUR mail 满了,而我自己也不知道所以错过了很多重要的电子邮件,当我发信给313的老师的时候,我才知道原来瓦大的WEBMAIL也是有大小限制的..
然后我又回信问他们怎么解决邮箱大小的限制,313的老师告诉了具体方法,把WURMAIL设置到OUTLOOK Explorer上,这样以来理论上你的硬盘有多大,你的邮箱也就有多大了...
设置的方法是:

De Exchange mailservers zijn geschikt gemaakt om te benaderen met een POP3 of IMAP client. Dit is speciaal gedaan om studenten en medewerkers met een slechte verbinding (in het buitenland of thuis) de gelegenheid te geven hun mail wat sneller te lezen dan met OWA. Maar :
De POP3/IMAP toegang is beschikbaar, maar alleen de MAIL faciliteit wordt gesupport, d.w.z. de beschikbaarheid van de Exchange server. Let op ! Gebruikers zijn zelf verantwoordelijk zijn voor de installatie van de client.
Waarschuwingen voor POP/IMAP gebruikers :
- je connect niet aan een POP maar aan een Exchange server, die ook (gedeeltelijk) POP/IMAP functionaliteit heeft.
- stel je client zo in dat de mail op de server blijft staan (meestal optie “Leave mail on server”) , de standaard- instelling voor POPmail haalt de hele mailbox over naar de pc, en een restore wordt in dat geval NIET gedaan !
- functionaliteiten zoals de calender, het adresboek etc zijn anders dan bij de Outlook/Exchange combinatie en soms in het geheel niet aanwezig. Synchroniseren van je calender met IMAP blijkt je calender op de server geheel leeg te maken en ook hier is een restore niet mogelijk
Advies : gebruik IMAP in plaats van POP3
Settings : incoming server : imap.wur.nl ( of pop.wur.nl )
outgoing server : net.wur.nl ( door sommige providers niet toegestaan, dus dan is alleen downloaden mogelijk)
secure aanloggen : nee
outgoing server verificatie vereist : ja
accountnaam : verkorte inlognaam
poortnummers : imap met SSL - 993 (en pop met SSL - 995 ).
in Outlook Express , Root folder path : niet invullen.
Commentaar en opmerkingen graag naar de FB-ICT helpdesk (0317-484000). Let op : de FB-ICT Helpdesk levert geen technische support op bovenstaande voorziening (zie ook hierboven) ! FB-ICT ondersteunt alleen de outlook clients binnen WURnet.

Recommendation:
use IMAP instead of POP3 Settings:

只有在使用POP3服务器接收电子邮件的情况下,邮箱的大小才不受限制,理论上讲硬盘有多大邮箱就有多大,
但是在使用IMAP服务器的情况下,OUTLOOK-E上的收件箱只是学校网站上收件箱的镜像,大小还是要收到学校的控制的.
