【从“华尔街之狼”看拒绝信的处理】 (个人经验分享,仅供参考)
这是我之前在收到近40封拒绝信后的一些总结,以我的观察,HR的拒绝信通常是以“汉堡包”形式递出:
Positive: Thanks for your interest to our company XXX or position XXX. Negative:3 popular rejection reasons(Competition, Language & Experience)—“Better Candidate suits the requirement”;”no well spoken and written Dutch”; “Lack of relevant working experience” Positive: Good luck with your further research andwish you all the best to find a suitable internship. HR写拒绝信的目的在清晰传达拒绝的原因同时保持公司专业化以及人性关怀形象。基于此,可以预见的是在写核心拒绝原因时,最愿意挑选的原因必定socially acceptable。 Socially acceptable reason 是你能够接受的原因,换句话说,是明显的并且毫无争议的原因.
问题就来了:明显的原因 = 被拒主要原因?
在电影【华尔街之狼wolf of Wall Street】里,Jordan曾对他员工阐释the secret of the telephone: “It won't dial itself! Until you take some action, it's nothing more than a worthless hunk of plastic box.”
同理,大多数拒绝信不会告诉更针对你情况的主要原因除非你跟进。
