Job description:
Our company is in the Asian catering industry. More specifically, we sell the infamous Vietnamese spring rolls (Vietnamese Loempia’s) and other typical Asian food. Your job is to run a complete Asian fast-food car by yourself. This entails frying spring rolls (Vietnamese Loempia’s), wonton, pastei etc and also selling these products.
Requirements:
- You are an Asian student studying at the University or HBO. (You have a permit to stay in the Netherlands.)
- You are reliable, helpful, cheerful, and always have the customers’ needs at heart first and foremost. You are someone that easily builds relationships with customers. You are someone that focuses on long-term goals.
- You are available on Saturdays between 10 AM and 7 PM (10.00 - 19.00) and Sundays between 11 AM and 7 PM (11.00 – 19.00). We are looking for someone who is available the entire year. Vacation and holidays should be notified in advance.
- You have some basic understanding of the Dutch language. For example, you can count in Dutch. However, this is not mandatory, because we can teach you.
Additional information:
Furthermore, if we do think that you are suitable, you will get a trial period of maximum 3 weeks (6 days) in which we will teach you how to run the business by yourself. During this period your supervisor will teach you how to deal with customers, and the art of frying Vietnamese spring rolls (Vietnamese Loempia’s). During this period you will get a weekly written evaluation containing strengths and weaknesses. You are required to improve on your weaknesses weekly. At the end of the trial period you will get a final evaluation, which may result in a permanent employment
Salary:
Your starting salary will be 100 Euro per weekend. This will gradually increase.
