Does anyone know how much tax is involved if I wanna transfer a property I own in China to my parent's name?
Thanks in advance!

tax is as same as the transaction tax. now in china, specific tax should know more detail about the property and your family.

Thanks, LS:) I checked that the transaction of a property costs much more than just to add an extra name as the property owner. So in some cases it is a better alternative. Cheers!

maybe there are some other choice to add an extra name as the property owner. For example, to notarize at notary office, the fee rate is 2% of the property price.then you can go to the property register administration office to ask for that requirement.
