Birth certificates from China should be like this:
A notary should make a ‘notarised certificate’; this notary should -in this 'notarised certificate' - refer to a 'source document' , for
example: your Hukou, and the notary should state that the Hukou is a true document. The notary should make a 'certified copy' of the Hukou, and add this certified copy to his notarised certificate.
Also, this 'notarised certificate' should be translated.
This notarised certificate should be legalised by the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs of one of the 18 Chinese ‘Foreign Affairs Offices’ ; and also by the Dutch embassy.
This legalised notarised certificate (with translation), with the certified copy of the hukou = this is what you need to take with you when you come to the Netherlands.
