对了，上个月的non-farm payroll下降多少，有没有超出consensus？我上周五没去上班，没看到。

C/BAC?  heheh. Wells Fargo/Goldman sachs are much better for long-term investment.  C/BAC are more casino-like bets. it's worse than speculating. Maybe your friend is a day trader. C/BAC are among the top list of day trading.  

Anyway, people will not listen until it costs money.

就是，他一会儿说就当赌博了，一会又说放3，5年，真是思路不清，赢了钱也是瞎猫撞着死耗子。

我只说一点，这些垃圾股跌倒一块以下，就可以买进，反正肯定不会倒。

non-farm payrolls will be released on May 8 (heavy week, huh)

Excerpt from Goldman Sachs Global ECS Research

"The 4-week moving average of initial claims has drifted down slightly. However,

continuing jobless claims pushed higher, which suggests that workers who have

become unemployed are having a difficult time finding new jobs. Our US economists

expect the unemployment rate to rise to 10% by the end of 2010."

hey Mahone,

I will see if there is any figures in the report or not. I may post it later on. You see the market is totaly insane now. Just because of the better-than-expectations housing sales.

The previous expectations on earnings/macros are so low. So if we get a little cheer-up, everything just go out of control. Human nature, huh?

Should we just call this "animal spirit" or "irrational exuberance"?  Take a look at quote (XHXI) (this piece of junk is nearly bankrupt) and crox (the stupid shoes makers). They surges more than 45% just in one single day with no special good news regarding the companies.  

There are more than 5-6 junk shares I know doubled their share price in 4-5 days. Is not that crazy? they have horriable earnings + terriable balance sheet.

Since billions of dumb money does not want to miss this rally, and keeps buying shit and making risky bet, the stock market can run higher. As for me, I will use this opportunity to take some profit on my longs.  I made some speculative bet as well. let's see how it goes.

I am going to build some short positions.  Let's set the bull trap from here. heheh

您可真是stock 的专家啊，我对股票其实知之甚少。我只知道的事，在熊市反弹中，垃圾股表现总是非常出色。

我想买put，空。但是太贵了！万一执行不了，损失比本来的投资还大，over-hedged了。

对了，现在itraxx main是多少？有没有破150？本轮反弹好几次都没有效突破这个水平。

今天UK close, itraxx main close at 145 on friday.

VIX can be checked by yahoo as well (ticker:^vix). 34.53. It seems it can go down further.
