读博士会不会被fire掉？这年头？？

I think I did a right thing to help fire that girl. Most people in our group got happy when I pointed out her fraud, becasue we can not tolerate a PhD student worked so poor.

u did help others, however have you ever thought of helping that girl?  for her, u were evil.

搞不懂，既然她过了第一年的评估，应该有一定的实力，怎莫一下子就成了“ｓｔｕｐｉｄ＂，而且还是“ｒｅａｌｌｙ　ｓｔｕｐｉｄ＂？而且，她的导师自己不能废她？非要你去“asistanted” 不可？

正解，如果你真心的帮过她，但她就是不思进取，只想投机取巧，影响大家的研究工作，废掉她也好，不然的话，真觉得你挺那个的。一个伟大的科学家，不仅仅是他们的知识和成就，他们的人品也是受人尊敬的。　当然对你来说，可能一个ｐｏｓｔｄｏｃ就够了，什莫“伟大”，什莫家不家的，无所谓，可能觉得她毫无用处，所以根本这个没必要　－ｊｕｓｔ　ｆｕｃｋ　ｈｅｒ　ｏｆｆ　－　只要你个人的工作条件，环境一切顺心，拿到成果即可，那就当我说废话好了。

Quite surprise me, that my simple comments got so strong response. Seems some people really pay much sympathy on that fired girl and question my personality.
1.        Only bad guy is afraid of justice and thinks good guys are evil. Hahaha
2.        I did help her, taught her from planning the experiment to analysis the data; even she was not my student. Not all PhD supervisors are qualified. Her own supervisor is such a guy that did not know the technique by himself and did not know what she was doing.  But she did not follow my instruction. She did not perform the experiment but told the group that she had done. Finally she could not show the record of the experiment.  Such fraud is not tolerable at all in nature science.
3.        Do you think the yearly evaluation really mean something? At least I think it is just filling forms.
4.        It is true I never want to be a great scientist. However, without that great ambition doesn’t mean that I should only look my own business and take no responsibility for the group.

I think my explanation is enough.
One lesson: here is people that has enough time to do others than their own research.

还是因为太stupid，不会调中文输入法？

EP_M说的应该是一个特例
学术作假导致被炒的例子，这种人的确该炒。

大家不要盯着说她笨的话看，我觉得根本原因不是笨，是学术道德问题。
没有必要太在意这种特例

相信98%的博士都能顺利通过第一年的评估，我听说的那个是因为老板自己出钱付工资请博士生，当然比较严格。如果是用项目的钱，基本上都没有问题的。
相信99%博士在通过第一年之后都没有问题的，理由同上。

既然你真的帮了她，而她又学术作假，被炒是活该的。

最后一句话没太看懂，别人看过你的帖子有点异议，就是闲得？不过既然你也到此溜达，还有什莫好说。

我知道有不少人第一年评估被炒，过了评估的就没听说有被炒得，只有炒老板的
