这年头做post是条路吗？

眼看快要毕业了，现在经济形势狂不好，各大公司都在裁人，很多基本上不招新人。只有地方让我去做post. 这种情况下做post是条路吗？ 还是继续挺着，延了id继续找？我eecs的phd，但是具体方向在荷兰很没前途。

做post有几点顾虑：1一直在学校里猫到现在没在工业界工作过，发现想找个工业界得工作没什么优势，如果继续猫学校，恐怕以后去工业界更难。 2做几年post, 就30+了，然后还得出来继续找工作，恐怕选择的面会越来越窄。

不做的话，现在的形势恐怕一时半会好不了，就成无业游民了。

另外问下国内跨国公司research的待遇如何？劳动强度大吗？  最近有点接触。

恐怕劳动强度“大”的工作都不适合，那就只能捡到什么要什么好了。现在除了ｐｏ没别的，就ｐｏ吧。博士４年都下来了，再躲２年也没什么。

If you choose to do a post-doc right after ur phd, then get ready for a post-doc for the rest of ur life.

The point is post-doc is  research based, academic oritented. The longer you develop your  career in this path, the more difficult you switch to industry.  So if you did want to move to industry, be careful with a post-doc position.

thanks for your tips. however, the problem is looking for a proper job under current circumstances is not so easy. i could take some time looking for a job, but i'm also taking the risk. actually i don't mind working for academia, although idealy it's better to work as R&D for those giant multinationals.

probably not, i only heard predog doing intern, not postdog. by the way, ur ass is awesome

I am a postdoc. Personally, I think the best choice is to find a permanent position. Postdoc is just a temporary job.
