Dear Mr. ,
You have applied for a place in the first year of the International Bachelor Economics and Business Economics (IBEB) programme 2008-2009 at Erasmus University Rotterdam (EUR). Earlier, we have informed you about your admissibility. On account of your educational background, our Admissions Office determined that you are meeting the minimum requirements for admission. Therefore, you only had to await the decision about your selection.
On account of your motivation letter as well as your educational records, our Programme Board is convinced that you would be a suitable candidate. Therefore, we are happy to inform you that our Programme Board offers you a place in the first year of IBEB!
You will receive an Acceptance Letter from Erasmus University Rotterdam by postal mail as soon as possible. In order to accept the offer and to finalize your application, you should take care of the following tasks:
- Please visit our website dedicated to accepted students: www.ese.eur.nl/accepted. We recommend to you browse through all of the information provided on this website in order to get prepared.
- In case you are in need of visa in order to travel to the Netherlands, Erasmus University Rotterdam can take care of the application procedure. Visa applications submitted by the EUR are processed faster by the Dutch immigrations service than private visa applications. Make sure you read all information on our Accepted Students website concerning visa applications. Please note that we can only start the accelerated procedure if you provide us with all necessary documents in time!
- Before you can start with the IBEB programme in September, you must register with Erasmus University Rotterdam via the online tool called ‘Studielink’. Registration via Studielink is mandatory. For more information, please visit www.eur.nl/registration.
When registering, Studielink may ask you to send in documents that you have sent to the IBEB Office earlier. Unfortunately, we can’t turn off these messages. Therefore, in case you receive a request to send in your diplomas, we kindly ask you to ignore it. However, if you receive a request for passport photos, we do recommend sending in these photographs since these will be used for creating your Erasmus University ID Card.
We realize this might be a lot of information, but we recommend reading all the information provided by our website thoroughly. Only in that case you will be able to make proper preparations for your start with the IBEB programme. Don’t hesitate to send us an e-mail if you have any questions.
