introduction week for new SID students

Hello, to all new SID students at Rug:

I am an old IE&B student and was asked by our department to help new SID studnets(Chinese).

Can somebody tell me when the introduction week for new SID students
at RuG starts? and where you should meet?

呵呵，那个INTRODUCTION本来我要上的，但是后来不上了。

你说的是学校进行的有组织的，还是学生自发的？

it is not the language course , just  a tour for one week, rug organizes it.
do u know when it starts ? did u get the information package?

it is quite important, u will learn a lot of useful information, such as all kind of facilities, rules and most importantly, u will know to make ur study design

aha,it is a sure bet that saving money is more inportant to me. ;)

我只知道有一个月的，前两星期是语言，后两星期是介绍性课程。

至于你说的一星期的，我不知道。是收费的还是免费的？

I know, I received the information package. It starts on 26 August,  and there will be a Introductory Camp, 45euros/student, from Wednesday to Friday.   In my opinion, it is a bit expensive :huh: ( even the letter said every new student MUST attend),  do you think it is really necessary to go for that?  old IE&B student?  :blink:

学校说的介绍课程，只写了强烈建议参加

我也觉得很奇怪, 因为我听很多朋友都说,介绍周去不去都可以, 但是学校的信就是这么写, 所以想请教一下格大的前辈们咯. :)

我想学校说的介绍课程和介绍周是不一样的吧, 介绍周是带新生参观了解以后学习生活的地方, Introductory Camp 是让大家互相认识的. 介绍课程我就不知道了,因为没收到那些信
