Well, dear my friend, maybe I could just share my experience with you.
First of all, there is no need to book the ticket at all as you could get it at the price of 10 yuan as I bought!
The second thing I need to add is that don't expect more than just have a short discussion with the teachers of the universities and got some information as well.
To be frankly, these kind of conference or exhibition are all held by agencies so don't expect to be admitted to an universities without paying anything!
The best thing you need to do is first check the information of the univeristies online and then you could have certain level of knowledge to discuess or negosiate with them.
That's actually my own idea on it as I used to be in shanghai!
