a. Your host institute first apply for advice from the Dutch Immigration Office (IND)
b. Once, after your host have received confirmation from IND, they will send you a message and then you can go to the Dutch embassy in your home country to make the final application for this visa yourself.
2. A residence permit is also required which will give you the right to stay legally in the Netherlands. After your arrival in the Netherlands, you need to apply for this permit within 3 working days.

Below the requirements are outlined.

4. description of your research plan

7. a so-called 'letter of agreement' from the Personnel Division
8. Health- and liability insurance: this will be arranged directly after your arrival in the Netherlands. Or, if you already arranged a worldwide insurance cover in your homeland, this can be used
9. your accommodation in Wageningen will be arranged by the representatives of the host research group
10. SOFI-number (social identification number), required to arrange financial transactions; this will be given by the Tax Office in the Netherlands
