a) the signed printout of your completed online application form. Please note that we require one form per applicant. Children need their own form, even when they are included in a parent's passport. Parents may sign the forms for children under 16.
b) your valid passport or travel document
c) one recent, passport-sized (45mm x 35mm), colour photograph. The photograph should be:
- taken against a light coloured (white, off-white etc.) background
- clear and of good quality and not framed or backed
- printed on normal photographic paper and
- full face without sunglasses, hat or other head covering unless for cultural or religious reasons
Please note that we may not accept photographs which do not meet these specifications.
d) the visa fee (see visa fees). Please note that this is a processing fee, which is therefore non-refundable, irrespective of the outcome of your application. Please also note that fees are also payable for children who are accompanying a parent on the parent's passport.
e) Your residence permit for the Netherlands with at least 2 months validity from the date of departure from the United Kingdom, or a return visa for the Netherlands, or a multiple entry Schengen visa.
f) Evidence of finances in the form of recent bank statements. Original plus one photocopy.
g) Proof of income; if employed: recent salary slips, if unemployed: recent social papers, if studying: recent proof of scholarship and letter from the school or college confirming enrolment, if self-employed: recent Chamber of Commerce papers and accountant report. Original plus one photocopy.
h) Letter of invitation from friends or relatives in the United Kingdom, or details of your hotel accommodation in the United Kingdom. Business people need to provide a letter from their company confirming that they need to travel to the United Kingdom for business purposes, as well as a letter or faxed invitation from the company in the United Kingdom.
