University Drenthe is a University of Professional Education, recognized and funded by the Dutch Government The university recognises that education is not a process of indoctrination and diplomas. Education is a matter of awareness -not merely of the outside world, but also in terms of personal development. The institute accepts its responsibility for producing graduates who are qualified for professional life in general. The relatively modest number of students (around 2,500) enables the university to provide high-quality education and be concerned with the welfare and progress of the students. Drenthe University offers excellent education. It is among the top 5 of the universities of professional education in The Netherlands. The Faculty of Mangement, Business and Technology offers two study programmes in English, International Information and Communication Management and International Logistics Management and a preparatory course. An increasing number of foreign students are coming to the university to follow regular study programmes or complete their practical training period. This furnishes them with the international experience they deem necessary for both their career and their personal development
