Near the German border, in the beautiful Westerwolde (Southeast Groningen), is the fortress Bourtange. A unique historic fortification that has no equal. Present and past go perfectly together in this small, cosy fortress town.
ALAS-ASC-GUTSA are organizing a fantastic full day trip to this beautiful place!! Don’t miss it!!

When? Saturday 1st of June. Time to be announced.
How much? Only 12 euros!!! This includes:
- Bus ticket: 7.5 euros (return). IN ADVANCE!! Each association will be selling tickets for their members.*
- Two guided tours of 30min each: 4.5 euros. At the entrance on the day of the event.
There will be a market for food and stuff.
*Please note that we are going to rent a bus that has a fixed price. If we complete the bus (50 people) it costs 7.5 euros per person. BUT if we are LESS than 50 people, we have to divide the total cost between the people who will attend. So, invite all your friends!!! :) If we are more than 50 people, we will rent a 2nd bus.
IMPORTANT: Keep your bus ticket in a safe place, to show it to us at the day of the trip!!
If you can’t make it on that day, and you already paid, you can give/sell it to a friend who would like to join :)
