华人登陆荷兰已有逾百年的历史，而在过去十余年中越来越多的华人带着不同的愿望和期待来到荷兰。随着新一代华人的成长与壮大，他们正在以一种全新的姿态，展示出华人更丰富多彩的精神面貌。
新华人
随着中荷双边互动日趋频繁，越来越多的新一代华人他们来到了荷兰，他在这片橙色热土或工作、或创业，或留学，或生活，他们用自己的智慧和双手为荷兰社会贡献力量。他们活跃在荷兰政界、法律界、教育界、金融界、科学界等， 他们是中荷之间文化教育、社会、商贸往来的重要纽带，也势必成为中荷双边交流的重要力量。
‘橙色印象’荷兰华人原创视频大赛
随着新华人群体的壮大，他们的声音更加强大、更加自信，更加以丰富多彩的方式来呈现，他们也更加需要更广阔的平台彼此交流、发出声音。正是荷乐网的出现，给了新华人一个强有力的发声平台。十余年来，荷乐网见证了新一代华人的成长，是他们交流、沟通的最佳平台，是新华人们一路成长的好朋友，是新华人群体发展与壮大的见证者。
2012年荷乐网与荷兰在线RNW联手，再度掀起一波橙色浪潮，为新华人搭建更全方位、更立体的交流与展示平台，共同举办——“橙色印象”首届荷兰华人创意视频大赛，旨在通过新华人的视角向中国展示一个真实的荷兰，同时也向整个荷兰社会乃至欧洲发出新华人的声音。
在本次大赛中，新华人用创意、用激情，勇敢发声; 用影像、用原创音乐倾情展示;用独特视角，用丰富的想象力，表现中荷文化的碰撞。本次比赛共收集到13部优秀作品，其中有中荷文化冲击的描述，有对荷兰生活的狂想，有对荷兰社会的接纳和批判，有荷兰优美旅游资源的记录，更有对荷兰独有的依恋情节等等。这些作品将新华人的生活和精神面貌更深入具体地展现给荷兰社会，以获得荷兰人对新华人社群更多的关注与了解。
至今，该视频大赛已经得到了社会各界的广泛关注，不少中国各界名人亦通过微博转载和表示支持;至今大赛网络展播主页（dv.gogodutch.com）已经获得了数十万次的点击及超过数万次的投票。荷兰当地多家媒体均对该赛事进行了广泛报道。
2012年9月7日，荷兰华人原创视频大赛颁奖晚会将在海牙市政厅举行，届时将有百名中荷友人莅临此次颁奖盛会。
新华人新声音创意展
荷乐网Gogodutch和荷兰在线RNW主办，海牙市政府协办的以新一代华人发出新声音为主题的创意展，包含荷兰华人原创视频大赛优秀作品展播，新华人肖像展以及新华人艺术创作展三个重要元素．
此展览旨在通过新一代华人对于荷兰生活，文化和精神不同的理解，通过多种艺术形态展示新华人眼中的荷兰；展览也期待将新一代华人的精神面貌通过照片对比展，让荷兰社会对新华人的组成和生活有基本的了解，对这个群体产生更多的关注。

New Chinese
As the bilateral interactions between China and the Netherlands becomingincreasingly frequent, more and more new Chinese came to the Netherlands inlast twenty years. In this “Orange Land”, they work, venture, study or liveand contribute their wisdom and capabilities to Dutch society. They are active in the field of legal profession, education, business, finance, economics,scientific community, and so on. Indeed,they are the essential links between the exchanges of cultural, education, social and business activities.It can be foreseen that they will becomea crucial influence of the interface between Chinese and Dutch communities.
Exhibition inspiration
The creativeexhibition is all about New Chinese and their various ways to speak out theirnew voice. The three important elements in the exhibition contain the displayof outstanding works of “Holland in my Eye” - Chinese Creative Video Contest,New Chinese Photo Exhibition, and artistic creation and design exhibition fromNew Chinese.
<Holland inMy Eye> ---1st Chinese Creative Video Contest
GoGoDutch (Chinese Portal Website in theNetherlands) cooperates with RNW ( Radio Nederlands Worldwide) to build up a communication platform with morecomprehensive and dimensional pictures and hold the <Holland in my Eye> – the 1st Chinese CreativeVideo Contest. The purpose is to present an authentic Netherlands to Chinathrough Chinese people’s eye and also allow the whole Dutch society, evenEurope, can hear the voice of New Chinese.
This contesthas gathered 13 outstanding works in total. Topics include the description ofChinese – Dutch cultural shock, the crazy imagination of Dutch livings,acceptance and criticism of the Dutch society, the record of beautiful Dutchtourism resources and even the special fantasy of Chinese student toward TheNetherlands, etc. Nine videos wasselected for this video exhibition. Thevideo contest has received widespread attention from different communities;many Chinese celebrities have showed their support through famous “Chinese twitter” -- WeiBo. It received hundreds of thousands of hitsand almost 100,000 votes. PhotoExhibition
Though NewChinese photo exhibition, we expect the Dutch society will have some basic understandingsfor the compositions, faces, lives and mentalities of new Chinese and pay morenotices to this group.
Artistic creation and design from NewChinese
There are manyChinese artists and designers who are working or studying in the Netherlandssince the Netherlands enjoys its high reputation in Design and architectfield. Many Chinese Artist are inspiredby unique Dutch culture and arts, this is the platform for them to show theirpoints of view of Holland.
The designworks covers creations, photos, painting, designs, and poem. They use differentways to express their understanding and feeling about the Netherlands.
