求助 tilburg CentER VS Barcelona GSE

收到人生中的第一个AD。。。 Barcelona GSE MSc in economics 没有奖学金........ 其实当初申的时候完全是没事做，随手的事。 然后AD很快来了，才慢慢找这个学校的资料，陡然发现貌似还不错。但高潮在LZ觉得既然已经有西班牙的学校发AD了，那索性就去申一下UPF的economics，高潮就是LZ点开economics的链接时候直接被转到了Barcelona GSE ==+
LZ也在准备申Tilburg的CentER, mphil in finance ... 请教下论坛里的牛们。。。 这两个哪个好点呢。UPF 有Jordi Gali这种大牛存在，但tilburg在经济方面也是很强。。 LZ准备去北美读PHD的。。。 硕士申欧洲就是想多走点地方。。。

You should apply phd or master in US directly.

申欧洲就是想去除了北美的地方多走走看看，个人觉得放弃美国的master这个机会成本还是值得的==+

申请的不是Phd 但以后有打算读北美的PHD的

MS degree in Europe will not help you to apply for US phd. Besides, you are wasting your time since even you have a EU MS u still need another five years for a US phd.

website I quoted I have browsered some U.S forum such as urch.com, and based the information which came from most U.S students who want to pursue a PhD in Economics, I believe that the majority think that here I quoted "It seems like most people agree that the best masters to prepare for PhD are 1) European 2) Canadian or 3) the very few select American schools (i.e.Duke)" (BTW, you can check it by downloading the attachment, the gogodutch do not allow me to push an URL ==+)So I'm afraid I cannot agree with you in this point, yet it is a free talk and I do appreciate that you sent yours. I think they are refering to Spanish or French programs. UPF is good especially for macro. If you want to do finance, try Stochastics and Financial Stochastics program in UvA and VU, it may serve as a good stepping stone.
