The course consisted two parts, lectures given by professor and case analysis presentation given by students.
In the lectures given by professor, we were introducted to the classical as well as cutting-edge theories of marketing field including the concept of 4ps, how this concept developed, what should we test the marketing environment for the planning a strategy in the company level, also we focused on the segmentation and positioning of market, and learnt to select the targeted customers, and what need to be done in different periord of product life cycle. Finally, we acqired the knowledge of customer-orientated producing, pricing a product in a numbers of ways, building channels to distribute products and designing promotion to interact with customers.
In the part of presentions done by students, we made our lectures in teamwork. There were several teams in my class. Each team searched the internet to find cases related to what we have learnt in each class, and analysied the case in marketing field.
Examination:An assignment and team presentations counted for 40% towards the final grade. A written exam counted for 60% of the final grade.
