The UK Border Agency, in partnership with our commercial partner WorldBridge, will be launching a new daily visa service in Amsterdam on 15 August 2011.
A mobile biometric clinic is being set up in Amsterdam so that customers can supply their biometric information, required to apply for a UK visa, without needing to travel to the visa application centre in Dusseldorf.
Using the new service will be very simple. You will be able to submit your visa application online using the online visa application system as you can now, but when you have paid your visa application fee you will be able to book an appointment at the WorldBridge biometric clinic at Regus Business Centre Amsterdam Atrium, Strawinskylaan 3051, 1077 ZX Amsterdam.
The clinic will be open Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 14:00. Attendance will be by appointment only, and will be subject to a service fee of €147.56 in addition to the visa application fee. You will be given a pre-addressed envelope to post your application to the UK Border Agency, and your passports and supporting documents will be returned directly to you by courier when we have decided whether to grant a visa.
If you do not want to use the mobile biometric clinic in Amsterdam, you will still be able to apply at the visa application centre in Dusseldorf.
