The Business Unit Automotive focuses on the development of in-dash car systems and is preparing to expand the market in Asia. Were looking for someone whos interested in supporting this.
The first year you will work as a trainee in our office in Eindhoven. As a trainee youll work on the definition of (manufacturing) test strategies for our products together with the development team and our supplier to reach quality targets. Youll define and maintain test specifications with regard to the test strategy. Youll visit factories to make validations and monitor the processes.
Youll learn to understand our business and product functionality; and gain experience in the field of operations. Depending on the progress during your traineeship you will have the opportunity to move to Shanghai and work as a project manager or technical expert and support the expansion of TomTom in the Asian market.
Your profile
- Recently graduated electrical engineer or graduating in the field of electrical engineering.
- Interest in Operations
- Excellent communication skills
- Good command of English and Chinese
- Affinity to move to China after a year in the Netherlands
