小弟申请vu的医学类，给教授发套磁之后，教授说可以发正式申请信，然后小弟就把ps 和 cv 发过去了，接着VU medical center给我回信了，内容如下。

小弟第一次申请，什么都不懂，不是说教授可以有决定权吗？为什么把我申请发到学校了？请教前辈们，我有希望不？还要经过什么样的选拔步骤呢？

一般会有面试的

我不在医学院，不太了解那边的情况。我们这边在收到申请后，老师们会讨论一下，权衡各个申请者的条件，邀请他们认为合适的人电话面试或者到系里面试，之后决定录取谁。
给你的邮件说in good order, 就说明很有希望哦，楼主的心情可以理解，不过还要耐心一点

所有申请的人只要把那些需要提交的文件发过去都会收到如上所示的”自动“回复， 绝不是ls所说的 good sign。 之后一般要经过两轮面试才能选出合适人选。竞争很激烈的，僧多粥少。背景，经验， paper， motivation， references是硬道理
