UM's Knowledge Engineering has been ranked NO.1 in the Netherlands for a few years (source: Keuzegids Hoger Onderwijs) If you are interested in applied mathmatics and computer science, it is a right programme for you.
This is a relatively small department, therefore, all students can have very close personal contact with academic staff from the department. Different from other faculties of UM, Knowledge Engineering uses the Project-Centred Learning (PCL) method, you work on challenging, real-life projects in small groups.
The master programme will last two years. With knowledge Engineering background, you will have a very good opportunity to find a job in NL. We have a lot of graduates working at Siemens and Philips.
