First of all I want to inform you that I have send your admission letter and other information today by express mail. The reason why it took a little bit longer then planned is that the board of the University decided on the 15th of March 2004 to withdraw their earlier decision taken on the 12th of January 2004 dealing with the tuition fee of 8.100 per academic year 2004-2005 for non-EER-students.
Although the tuition fees of the University of Twente for non-EEA students will be set at at least 8100 per academic year, this amount will not be charged for the academic year 2004-05. The tuition fee for 2004-05 will be 1476 for non-EEA students. The tuition fee for non-EEA-students for 2005-06 will at least be 8.100. Please be aware that, due to yearly adaptation of the fees, it is possible that the tuition fee for 2005-06 may also be considerably higher than 8.100.
For the enrolment procedure, the consequences are minor. As before, we ask you to transfer an amount of 3.000 to the bank account of University of Twente in Enschede, The Netherlands. Account number: 40.53.43.663 , ABN AMRO Bank SWIFT-code: ABNA NL2A, Enschede. (for further instructions read the enclosures in the package that I have send you). This is the campus fee in the new situation, as you can see in the overview of costs.
Upon arrival you will have to transfer the tuition fee of 1475 to the registration office of the university.
We are happy to announce the new decision, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you. |
