我给英国使馆去了email,使馆的电脑系统自动先给了一个最常见问题的答案,其中第九和第十项比较重要,大家分享。
9. I wish to visit the UK. What documents do I need to provide?
If you wish to visit the UK, you will need to provide the following
documentation:
(i) Your valid passport
(ii) Two recent passport-sized photographs (colour and black and white are
both accepted)
(iii) Your Dutch residence permit, return visa, or valid multiple entry
Schengen visa
(iv) Evidence of your income (e.g. contract and recent salary slip, if
unemployed: the statement from the social services listing your benefits,
if a student: evidence of your scholarship)*
(v) Evidence of finances (e.g. a recent bank statement)*
(vi) A letter of invitation from friends, relatives or organisation in the
UK, or details of hotel accommodation if seeking entry as a tourist
staying in hotel accommodation
(vii) Application form VAF 1 (see Which form do I need to complete)
(viii) Processing fee (see How much does it cost?)
* If you have no income or finances of your own and you are living with a
parent, partner or spouse who does have an income and finances, you may
submit his/her details instead, with a photocopy of the bio-data page of
his/her passport.
If you are:
(i) married to an EU national, or
(ii) you are the child (under 18) of an EU national that has not formed an independent household of its own,
(iii) and you and your EU spouse or parent propose to visit the United
Kingdom together, you may qualify for a visa commonly known as the EEA
Family Permit. To submit an application for this Permit, you will need to
provide the following documentation:
(i) Your valid passport
(ii) Your valid residence permit for The Netherlands
(iii) The EU national's valid passport and, if British: Dutch residence permit
(iv) Your marriage certificate or "trouwboekje"
(v) Your birth certificate (if applying as the child of an EU national)
(vi) Two passport-sized photographs
(vii) Application form VAF1 2003
EEA Family Permits are issued free of charge and are valid for multiple
entries, for 1 year. Please note, however, that on each occasion you must
travel together with the EU national. If you are travelling independently,
you need a visit visa and will need to submit the documents listed under
visit visas above.
Please note that in accordance with standing Home Office instructions,
same-sex spouses, common-law spouses, partners and fianc閑s do not qualify
for an EEA Family Permit.
Due to the complexity of immigration procedures, we can never guarantee
that on production of the documents above a visa will be issued. You may be
asked to return with further documentation, or for an interview. If this is
necessary can only be decided at the time you submit your application when
we have seen your supporting documents.
Please note that the fees are processing fees, and that they are not
refundable, irrespective of the outcome of your application. Always
remember to obtain an official receipt for any fees paid.
Please do not book tickets or hotel accommodation before you have your
visa. We can never guarantee that a visa will be issued and making payments for
tickets and/or hotel accommodation prior to your visa application may
therefore result in financial loss!
10. I wish to transit the UK. What do I need to provide?
Direct Airside Transit visa
If you are a national that requires a Direct Airside Transit visa (see Do
I need a visa?) and you are transiting the UK airside, arriving and leaving
the UK from the same airport within 24 hours without the need to pass
through immigration control, you will need to provide the following:
(i) Your valid passport
(ii) If not resident but seeking to return to The Netherlands, a valid
return visa or multiple entry Schengen visa
(iii) A valid visa for the country of final destination if you need one
for that country
(iv) A reservation clearly showing your flight details
(v) Form VAF1 2003 (see Which forms do I need to complete?)
(vi) Two recent passport-sized photographs
(vii) The processing fees (see How much does it cost?) |
