Living cost for two in Amsterdam?

I am looking for your information to evalulate the possibility of moving to Amsterdam.

What will it cost on average for a couple (only one works) to live in Amsterdam? (including medical and healthy insurance, a 1-bed room apartment, food and drinks, gas+electricity+water,local transport for two persons, phone+internet+Cable TV +TV license(?)

for a "common" Chinese couple, how do you like the life in Amsterdam?

I greatly appreciate your help!

living 700+
food 250+
city transportation 66 (non-working spouse)
internet,TV, phone 30-40
gas+water(cold+warm)+electricity+heating 150 at least
insurance 100/person
These are quite common figures for you two. If only one working in AMS, life is not very pleasant. Why not to choose other place to live and only work here?

Because the boss seems to very good in the field. I have not made up my mind. I am balancing different factors that I have to consider.

with a salary for 2,400 (starting and netto per month, which the boss offers, including the ruling).???

你这是第一post-doc吗？ 还是第二个post-doc。如果是 fresh-phd。gross 2800+ euro, +ruling===2200+netto
