just bad time......not many junior vancancies available. most companies are cutting the cost and eliminating the non-essential jobs

if you are experienced enough, it will be better. Be patient..try everything you can find on the internet....

there are quite a few quant-related jobs , updated everyday. anyway, the market is not that hot as it was 1 year ago

There has been a lot of financial job cuts in the past year. The difficulty for a junior to find a good position lies in the competition from more experienced ppl flooding the market. Don't look for jobs at ABN Amro or Fortis, as both banks are in very bad positions. Insurance companies are also having a hard time as Aegon reported today with bad numbers and sour outlook. Try ING and Rabo, which are more conservative. Maybe some smaller, stable and less commercial financial companies will also have open positions.

aegon一直在recruiting的啊而且好像有要求至少15%的位置要是外国人。主要是它的career都是荷兰语，很容易错过那些英文的职位。多查点总没坏处。下个礼拜ing的结果不知道能不能高于共识。愿多多中国人加入这个行当。
