Dear student,
The Student Council informed the university that many students experience inconveniences because of the strike in public transport. Because of the continuing strike in public transport, the Executive Board of Wageningen UR decided to provide free busses for the weekend. In this way students can travel for free to Ede-Wageningen trainstation.
On Friday the 6th of June, between 17:00 and 19:00 two buses shuttle between Forum and Ede-Wageningen trainstation. Students can use this transport offered by Wageningen University by showing their studentcard. The buses (from the company Betuwe Express) are recognisable by the signs on the front window of the bus which will show the destination.
On Sunday the 8th of June between 19:00 and 22:00 the buses will also shuttle between Ede-Wageningen trainstation and Forum.
We hope this eases the inconvenience of the strike for the students and we thank the Executive Board for the service and the quick action they took.
