我仅仅拿蒂尔堡大学的本科入学举例:这个是international business 专业

Please note:
- The Admissions Board only accepts and assesses complete applications.
- An advanced level of English in both oral and written skills is indispensable.
- Tilburg University reserves the right to refuse any student.
Application requirements
In general, every individual application will be assessed on the basis of three main factors:
- Educational background / diplomas
- English language skills
- Mathematics requirements
1. Educational Background / Diplomas
In the Netherlands, the VWO diploma (pre-university education) is in most cases sufficient for university entrance at Bachelor level. However, secondary education diplomas from other countries (which might be sufficient for university entrance in your home country) are not always of the same standard as the Dutch VWO diploma. In some cases therefore Tilburg University asks additional requirements. The following summary gives an indication of the minimum entrance standard required. Please note that all diplomas need to include English and Mathematics at a sufficient level.
Country Entry standard required The Netherlands VWO (pre-university) diploma, including English and Mathematics International schools European Baccalaureate
International Baccalaureate including English and Mathematics
Standard Level Western European countries
except Great Britain National school-leaving certificate, including English
and Mathematics Great Britain,
and other countries
in the UK educational system A minimum of three GCE A-levels (including English and
Mathematics) plus three GCSE O-levels in six different subjects
relevant to the selected degree course Eastern European countries Secondary school plus one year of university training including
English and Mathematics. Other countries Please contact the International Affairs Office for advise on your specific situation. (所以说高中申请和大一在读申请能否被录取实在是因人而异,假如条件不好,高中生被录取的可能性很小。这点Q版主也说过了。)
This gives you an idea of the value of your diploma. If you would like to know precisely whether you are eligible for entry with your diploma, we advise you to submit a full application for admission. In principle, you should have a diploma, which is equivalent to the Dutch VWO diploma.
The Admissions Office will evaluate your diploma and advise you on your eligibility.
2. English Language Requirement
Since the programme is taught in English, a good verbal and written command of that language is essential. Therefore all students have to do an English proficiency test. The minimum requirements are:
- IELTS test with an average minimum score of 6.0 and a minimum score of 5.5 on each of the parts.
- TOEFL test score with a minimum score of 550 for the paper based version, 213 for the computer based version, or 80 for the Internet based version. The TOEFL Institutional code for Tilburg University is 9860.
- Cambridge Proficiency or Cambridge Advanced.
However, an English proficiency test is NOT required if:
- you are an English native speaker, i.e. if you are a citizen of, or have obtained your secondary school diploma in one of the following countries: Australia, Canada (with the exception of Quebec), New Zealand, United Kingdom, Ireland and the United States of America.
- you have completed all your secondary school education in English.
- you have completed your secondary school education (VWO) in the Netherlands.
3. Mathematics Requirements
Mathematics is a required course. This means that even if you have a recognised diploma, you must be able to prove that you have a sufficient level of Mathematics. In some cases, the Admission Board might require you to participate in an entrance examination in Mathematics, called Colloquium Doctum.
