I got a USA J1 Visa, do I need to leave the country before the VISA expiration

Hello, everyone

my J1 VISA expiration date is at the end of February next year, but I bought a flight ticket at the start of the March.
So my question is, can I still in US for couple of days. for instance 1 week?

F1是可以多呆的.但是想不起具体时间了,隔得太久~ 好象是30天? J1好象还真没听说可以多呆. 建议LZ最好去问问使馆的人比较保险,给他们发个EMAIL.
