first of all i would like suggest you not worrying so much and perhaps don't focus it anymore, as for myself i got the visa the day i left.
second, what you need to do is simply prepare all your staff as i understood that the dutch visa is always not difficult to get, just be patience. otherwise you will probably have no time to prepare.
third, contact your univeristy, the international office of the university to let them know your situation, and maybe let them do something for you or just make your lessons delay for a period to cover you loss.
the last is to wish you good luck, there is no difficluty at all, just go there pick up your visa!
