博士留校的工资

我今年9月份就要博士毕业了， 导师跟我谈了留校的可能性， 是做 Professor Assistant,  要给Master上课, 不是实验室那种的。 因为现在只是谈到了意向， 还不到具体跟老板谈工资的时候。 有没有人知道这样留在学校的工资水平呢？ 听说大学的工资是有Scale规定的， 不象去公司， 工资可以和老板讨价还价。 那作为Professor Assistant第一年的Scale是多少呢？ 和外面好点的公司的待遇差很多吗？ 另外， 大学里签的工作合同都是所谓的Permanent Contract吗？

各个荷兰大学会有一点差异，有的是SCALE 12，但是40小时/周。一个刚毕业的PHD起步价税前应该是三千欧左右，每年涨一点。一年加上津贴的也就是四万出头。税后就更少了。现在大学有点象北美，先签一个二到五年的合同，等几年后评估通过可以转成永久性职位。外面如果找得到，工资一般比学校高，而且不见得比学校压力大，现在大学职位越来越不好混了，PAPER，PAPER，PAPER，，，，多P。

what is processor assistant?
if it is assistant professor, that is quite unusual for a PhD to get this position directly especially in the Netherlands. I think you should seriously consider this, in this case.

professor assistant ?? 會不會只是類似 teaching assistant/ instructor

ls, professor assistant is totally different from TA or RA.... btw, LZ不是才读本科吗？
