Logistics/Operation Assistants / Officers

Job Description :
Warehouse management skills
• Co-ordinate with customer’s order management on all order fulfillment and related issues
• Co-ordinate with forwarders/ports/shipping line on the Import / Export shipment booking and local deliveries
• Prepare and checking relevant shipping documents
• Can book container and air shipment
• Can understand basic shipping contract
• Monitor shipments to ensure on-time pickup and delivery to meet customer and company requirements.
• Negotiate and execute spot quotes for specialized shipments.
• Communicate and liaise with internal and external clients as well as carriers at a transactional level.
• Monitor customer service activity to ensure customer satisfaction. Resolve and monitor carrier issues for internal and external clients.
• Audit AND issue freight bills/invoice as needed.
• Monitor subcontractor compliance to ensure carriers maintain compliance status to corporate subcontractor guidelines.
Job Requirements :
• Associates Degree or the equivalent combination of education
• Minimum 1-2 year’s experience in related industry and experience for Transportation/Logistics/Freight Forwarding industry, preferably as a coordinator/planner, freight broker, dispatcher or similar role
• Knowledge of import/export and customs procedures or shipping business
• Certain physical work may be required depending on the programs
• Familiar with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel & Word ） and email correspondence
