About Mandarin Stars: Mandarin Stars Europe B.V. is the official and licensed Netherlands and European provider of the Mandarin Stars program, Australia’s original and leading immersion-based Mandarin education service for children. The Mandarin Stars program is highly recognized by leading linguistic educators and delivers proven results, having already enrolled over 5000 Australian children since inception in May 2008. Most importantly - it is a program simply loved by children!
As a Mandarin Stars teacher you will be teaching groups of 6 to 12 children from age 1 to 12 years+.
We are looking forteachers who are: - Native Mandarin speakers, with good English communication skills; Knowledge of Dutchwould be a plus. - Passionate about teaching and working with children and inspiring in them a love for the Mandarin language and the Chinese culture. - Friendly,creative, approachable, outgoing and willing to learn! - Team players who are prepared to share ideas with our dynamic teaching team.
Teaching: - Teaching,following our highly developed Mandarin Stars programs as directed by your Manager. - The preparation of class materials. - Input over program development and creating program resources and the creation of such resources. - Ensuring that all materials used in class are returned to your Manager or relevant storage place on time and at the end of each class/term.
Parental Communication: - Dealing with parent enquiries and enrolments and also driving the overall demand forour classes by ensuring that our high teaching standards are met. - Welcoming new trial students and parents and ensuring that all of their questions are answered.
Operational: - Making sure that toys and materials are appropriately packed away and that broken toys are fixed or replaced by Management. - Maintainingour storage space so that it is neat and tidy.
