~~~Car Insurance in the Netherlands

Hi there,

As you know from this post:
http://bbs.gogodutch.com/thread-279146-1-1.html, I am importing my carto the Netherlands from the US.
But do you know whether I can buy Dutchinsurance without registering my car in the Netherlands.

I do not want to register my car in the Netherlands because I would need topay much importation tax.
If I don’tregister my car in Holland,I don’t need to pay the tax.


I tried to find an answer from insurance company website, but thereis no English.
Anyone has any suggestionon this?

In my opinion, I would like to say you can not drive you car for a long time without registration, especially from out of EU.

is 1 year long enough?

不合法的，想都别想了。往荷兰运车也应该是重税的，而且荷兰系统很严格，根本没有必要找着个不痛快，公司派你过来，让公司负责给你租车吧。

刚帮你看过保险公司的网站拉,上面说了,外国车辆是不允许购买保险的.保险只卖给在荷兰注册的车.并且车主必须拥有合法驾照.
