各位前辈，我刚刚收到我国内老板转来的信：

Dear prof. XXX
...... At this time I want to inform you that we want to start the hiring procedure for Mr. XXX as aPhD candidate for one of vacant PhD positions in my group. Our secretary has started the internal procedure and requests for information will follow shortly.......

请问：
1. 我还要多久才能收到正式通知啊？
2. 就这样定了？会不会还需要面试？
3. 他们那个internal procedure具体是什么啊？要多久？
4. 这个阶段，我该做些什么呢？

说也不知道要多久。唯一可以肯定的是你被接受了。恭喜恭喜。我个人觉得应该不需要面试。
这个手续要看你的项目批下来了没有，没有批下来的话，那很难说。如果批下来了，只是学校自己的问题，那就很快。你只需要回复感谢。然后后期等2-3给秘书或者老板发邮件问问。

还有，你整个手续期间，其实都不用到这里来问，因为每个人的CASE不一样。回答的答案也不一定正确。最确切的消息，我建议你直接问秘书，或者老板。他们一般非常热情的也很耐心的回答你的任何问题。祝你好运\

但目前为止，对方教授或秘书都没有给我直接联系，都是通过我国内老板的，因此冒昧地给对方去Email，不知妥不妥啊？

这封信收到两周了，还没有进一步信息，看来荷兰人的shortly不怎么shortly啊。

耐心等，他们通常答应都会做的。荷兰人效率慢，尤其你来了之后办各种手续就知道了。 锻炼你的耐心，从现在开始。

他们还要问你的 资料信息呢。  （我看这英文的意思）
