Position: Consultant Internship Company: PA Consulting Group Department: Innovation and transformation
We offer you an internship position – 2,5 to 5 days per week – for a minimum of 6 months (Start date is subject of discussion). During our internship you will experience what life is like as an innovation and transformation consultant. You will directly work in teams with other consultants on assignments for our clients. By working on different assignments each time, you will quickly learn about our core capabilities: data, digital, agile change & program management and market strategy & business design. As an intern, you will be in charge of the Pre-Sales Support Team. The team is responsible for enhancing the pace and organisation of the pre-sales process. Aside from being the lead of this team, you have the opportunity to shape your own internship towards your personal interests.

What we’re looking for

The HR Operations Officer is part of the global HR Operations & Payroll team based in Amsterdam and will report directly to the HR Operations and Payroll Manager. We want to grow from doing just doing an HR job to building meaningful employee relationships and empowering our people and company.
Backbase is in hypergrowth and this means that we are constantly innovating for a tomorrow we don’t know yet.
As HR Operations Officer you take pride in helping Backbase to be an environment full of happy employees. You work in an all-round job with a wide range of activities, make sure all HR Operations processes run smoothly and are a first or second point of contact for HR questions from employees worldwide. Next to that you are our guardian angel protecting flawless execution of all employee administration. Big mistakes lie in small details and this is why you have an (eagle’s) eye for detail.
Furthermore you will be handling crucial HR tasks like onboarding & offboarding of employees, applying benefits policies, insurances and handling international mobility cases. Your goal is to bring them to the next level? How about you?
Just doing your job is not enough, you want to make a difference in the lives of people. You are service-minded and a true problem solver. After analyzing a case, you’ll come up with solutions that centralize around people and their needs.
You have a natural passion for people and are familiar with Dutch HR legislation and institutions. You are skilled in building strong relationships and have a couple of years’ HR experience.
We are still HR and like to tick boxes. You tick at least the following ones: - Several years of relevant work experience in HR
- Education in HR is preferred
- Experience in an international environment, so you are up to speed with topics like 30% ruling and international mobility
- Able to prioritize multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and be flexible;
- Good understanding of Dutch HR legislation and institutions
- Respect the importance of confidentiality
- Fluent communication in English and Dutch
- Full-time availability.
