Who needs ICS Complete?
Students without obligation to have the Dutch "Basic Healthcare Insurance" (Dutch National Health Insurance) and who do not hold any other Health Insurance/EHIC with extensive cover for medical expenses outside their country of origin. The health insurance offered within ICS Complete meets the requirements for a visa to The Netherlands.
Cover ICS Complete
The ICS Complete insurance package covers all insurances you need for your stay in the Netherlands. ICS Complete covers:
All medical costs in The Netherlands. ICS Complete covers all medical costs in The Netherlands. You are covered for the following costs: dental, doctor, physiotherapy, acupuncture, medicines, psychotherapies and medical transport. This health cover applies while you are studying or doing your internship, while traveling (holiday) to other countries and offers limited cover in your country of origin. It offers limited coverage in your country of origin or during a holiday in a different/other country. The policy conditions provide more detail on this cover.
There will be no cover for medical expenses in connection to pre-exising conditions, or for medical expenses that can be postponed. For example, regular asthma medication will not be covered.
Liability As careful as you may be, you could hurt someone or damage his or her property. Liability insurance covers the financial outcome of the damage you cause to another or to their property. The policy conditions give more detail on this cover.
Household contents and luggage The luggage insurance insures your luggage against loss, damage and theft while you are traveling. Household contents insurance covers the contents of your home within The Netherlands against fire, explosion, theft, vandalism, storm, rain, damage caused by leaking taps or aquariums, incident/accident and lightning. Accidents The accident insurance offers substantial compensation for death or permanent disability due to an accident. The policy conditions give more detail on this cover.
Legal aid With the legal aid insurance you can get help from lawyers and other professionals. They are there for you when you need legal assistance or advice. Not only if you unintentionally become involved in a legal issue, but also if you take the initiative to take legal action. The policy conditions give more detail on this cover.
Extra costs Extra costs insurance includes, amongst other things, costs of flights should you unexpectedly need to return to your country of origin, possibly due to a death in the family. Alternatively, if you become seriously ill or injured in The Netherlands your family’s airline tickets to The Netherlands will be reimbursed. Emergencies like evacuation, repatriation under medical supervision or repatriation of your remains are also covered. The policy conditions give more detail on this cover.
